HOW TO IDENTIFY A FRAUDULENT PREACHER

The signs of eschatolgy are here with us and there is every reason for to identify this time as end times as prophesized by John. Out of the many signs we see, there is the emergence of the fake preachers who are out to exploit unconscious congregation. These are the characteristics of these men and women who have turned the Lord's house into a den of thieves, robbers and conmen.


 1. GOSPEL OF PROSPERITY.
These smart preachers will emphasize how prosperous you should be. How successful you should be. Year come year go they will always tell you its your year. But listen, why can't they tell you to repent your sins first? Why can't they tell you to turn away from sin and prepare for the second coming of Christ? Furthermore, they promise worldly wealth like big cars and jobs which all Christians know that is all vanity.


2. BIZZARE RITUALS
Unexplainable rituals, odd symbols and funny actions. You're not allowed to question because the spirits have said. You're told to put money in a bottle to be rich. Pour anointing oil in your genitals to get a child and so many odd things. Don't be fooled.

3. BLAME NEIGHBOUR-SATAN
With assumption that everyone in the church is having a problem and requires help from the man of God, the man will always attribute whatever you're going through to either someone close to you or Satan himself. Satan made you fail in school, satan made you sterile, satan this and that and that satan is in a collaboration with your neighbor to destroy you.

4. NEPOTISM IN THE PULPIT
In this church, the man is the pastor, the son is the youth leader, the daughter is the worship leader and the pastor's wife the leader of mother's union. Remember the pastor's brother is the all time treasure a and any attempt to question this organization would lead to your suspension because " Leadership comes from God" .

5. MORE SERVICES THAN CSR PROJECTS.
These people wants to appear more compassionate to followers with various problems. They set services for morning and evening midweek, lunch time devotion everyday and vigils which bigin on Thursdays to Saturday. On Sunday there are at least three services and an afternoon deliverance service. Not bad, you will never hear that a day or an hour has been set aside to take care of the needy in the society. Nothing like visiting the sick, Feeding it orphans or doing any acts of compassion. Instead,  they will open up a business like a private school or hospital to "help" the society.

Be vigilant because out there there are wolves in sheep skin. They have perfected their entrepreneual skills but applying it in the wrong place.  Feel free to tell them off and help your umcomcious brother or sister.
