WHO PULLED THE TRIGGAR?

The country moarns. Communities grief and a national morning day declared. Children remain orphans and young ladies become widows all over sudden. People perceive dark days ahead. But man is so airheaded, amnemonic and amnesic. These are some Kenyan Great personalities who died by gun and justice has gone unserved to date.

1. THOMAS JOSEPH MBOYA
Its a Saturday, the 5th day of July 1969. Just 6 years after the country gains self governance. An icon, a bright Kenyan, Kenyan trade unionist, educationist, Pan Africanist, author, independence activist, Cabinet Minister is short dead by alleged one Nahashon Isaac Njenga Njoroge who disappeared thereafter. It intensified ethnic rivalry in the 90s but here we are now. Nobody to ask who exactly was the "big man" Njoroge talked about.

2. GEORGE MUCHAI
Just two years after being elected as the Member of parliament for Kabete, the body of Muchai was found dead inside his car together with his two bodyguards and a driver along Kenyatta Avenue on February 7, 2015. Four suspects were under question but to date, nobody has been charged over the death of the legislator As 'investigation continues'.

3.JACOB JUMA
The man who shot the Nairobi business man six times on the night of 25th May 2016 has never been identified. Its mystery after mystery. Several suspects have been questioned but none arrained in the court of law to face justice.

4. DR ODHIAMBO MBAI
Dr Chrispine Odhiambo Mbai was a brilliant lecturer, a father of devolution and a researcher that our country would need to date. But where is he? His life was taken away by unknown gunmen in September 2003. Suspects have been acquitted and he is gone and forgotten.

This is just a short list of great men in our country that left us in the hands of gunmen. They lenththen the long list of unresolved murders in our country. Joining Robert Ouko, J M Kariuki, Willy Kimani and most recently Chris Musando. When pepple remember they weep but again remain puzzled.  They continue to ask, Who pulled the triggar?
